League Racing - Class A Details

Price: $150 per kart + HST

🏁 Race Format Overview

This race is open to 19 and older drivers
Each race is a 20-minute timed contest
Up to 16 karts compete head-to-head per race
Karts are assigned randomly by draw before each race
Karts leave the pit in numbered sequence (1–16)

⏱ Timing & Scoring

Timing is recorded to 1/1000 of a second
Each kart’s race time begins when it crosses the buried loop in the first turn
Final results are based on fastest total race performance within 20 minutes

📅 Race Schedule

1 race per week over 3 consecutive weeks
6 total groups, with up to 16 drivers per group
Race night schedule:
- Start time: 7:15 PM
- 2 groups race per hour
- Total duration: 3 hours per night

🏆 Championship Qualification

The top 3 finishers from each group (18 drivers total) advance
These drivers compete in a Championship race in Week 4

🥇 Awards & Recognition

The top 3 finishers in the Championship race will receive:
- 🏆 Trophies
- 📸 Their photo featured on a track banner
- 🌐 Recognition on the website

Weekly standings will be published online

The GTP go-karts are powered by reliable 9hp Honda engines and feature a wet clutch system that operates automatically.
Hydraulic brakes provide smooth, responsive stopping with minimal effort.
Rack-and-pinion steering allows for precise control and effortless handling through sharp turns.
For enhanced visibility and safety, each kart is equipped with headlights for night racing.
Tail lights that signal braking to drivers behind.
Side-view mirrors make lane changes more confident and controlled.
A remote light integrated into the dashboard enables clear communication between the team and the driver.

Safety and comfort are top priorities.

Drivers are secured with 3-point push-button seat belts featuring auto-retracting mechanisms for quick and easy use.
The fibreglass body fully surrounds the driver, offering maximum protection, while the ergonomic seating position ensures a comfortable ride.

Getting in and out is simple, with an easy-enter/exit design

that allows drivers to lift themselves up using the side panels.
